GRAPHIC ARCHI PROJECT No.1
Produced by UNNON, this is the first in a series that focuses on famous graphic artists of the past and turns them into products.
This piece by Toshihiro Katayama can be used as both a scarf and a handkerchief. It also looks great framed.

■ Toshihiro Katayama
Born in Osaka in 1928. A graphic designer and artist, he founded the design research group "A Club" with Nagai Kazumasa, Kimura Tsunehisa, and Tanaka Ikko in the early 1950s, and worked for the Japan Design Center (1960-1963) and Geigy of Switzerland (1963-1966). In 1966 he moved to Boston, USA, where he taught at Harvard University's Carpenter Center for Visual Arts for over 25 years.
He continued to work energetically and was active internationally in a wide range of fields. He passed away in 2013.

■GRAPHIC ARCHI PROJECT
This project focuses on the client work and works of famous designers who have contributed greatly to the field up until now, such as those involved in the founding of the Japan Design Center in the 1950s and the Japan Graphic Designers Association (JAGDA) in the 1970s, as well as contemporary graphic designers, and turns the archives into products.
