“SOUL TIME in TOKYO”, the Tokyo version of ALOHA GOT SOUL’s regular party “SOUL TIME in HAWAII”, will be held again this year!
`` TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS'' will hold a photo exhibition ``TIME AND A HALF'' by Roger Bong, a central figure in ALOHA GOT SOUL. We will also be releasing exclusive special T-shirts and selling ALOHA GOT SOUL related products including records.
The free admission opening party will be held from 5pm on Friday, May 24th, and in addition to ALOHA GOT SOUL, there will be DJs by DISCO MAKAPUU and HAPPFAT. In addition, it will be an exclusive event where ALOHA GOT SOUL's newly signed singer, MARIANNE ITO, will perform her first live performance in Japan.
“SOUL TIME in TOKYO” ended with great success last year and the year before, so please enjoy the GOOD VIBES ONLY time again this year.

ALOHA GOT SOUL
DJ Collective is a label based in Honolulu, Hawaii that advocates "Music From Hawaii."
Shocked by DJ MURO's MIX TAPED "HAWAIIAN BREAKS", he started a blog recommending Hawaiian soul funk disco, AOR, mainly from the 70s to 80s, and started a label in 2015. He shocked vinyl enthusiasts around the world with his job as a 7-inch cutout of the extremely rare Hawaiian Rare Groove record, MIKE LUNDY's "Rhythm of Life." After that, he released a compilation compilation of Hawaiian rare groove masterpieces on the prestigious UK label STRUT, and continued to release high-quality reissues of AURA, AIKO, ÆOLUS, PHASE 7, NOVA, etc. on his own label. Then there's FRNTBZNZZ (Front Business), who has released a series of excellent releases of singer NICK KUROSAWA's debut album "ELECTRO BOOGIE FUNK JAM", and Hawaiian Balearic DUB, JAH GUMBY, who is full of individuality with his unique insight. Releases by a variety of current artists, such as YOUR SONG IS GOOD's “Coast To Coast EP” jointly released with Kakubarism, an independent label that brings out great artists, are becoming more active, and “Music From Hawaii” is becoming more and more interesting. We are evolving day and night to convey this to the world.
