Pop-up shop and talk show held to commemorate musician Chara's first performance in Taiwan

In commemoration of musician Chara's first live performance in Taiwan, the picture book "LITTLE HEARTBEAT" co-authored with her sister Mitsuko Watabiki at "BEAMS Breeze Nanshan Atre" and "BEAMS Taipei" in Taipei (published by BEAMS /2018) We will be holding a pop-up shop related to this event. As a related event, a talk show will be held at the newly opened ``TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Nangang Store'' and ``Fujin Tree 353 Cafe'' in Nangang District, Taipei City.
This picture book and related goods will also be sold at the pop-up shop for a limited time. In the talk show, we will hear a variety of stories from the picture book "LITTLE HEARTBEAT" to the story of a mother and child brought up through picture books, and even about her first live performance in Taiwan. There will be an autograph session after each talk show, so please come and take advantage of this valuable opportunity.

Chara (musician)
Debuted in September 1991 with the single "Heaven". She is the only female artist in Japan who consistently creates and sings songs with the theme of "love". They gained popularity due to their original songs and unique presence, and in 1992 won the Album New Artist Award in the Pop/Rock category at the Japan Record Awards. In 1996, the movie ``Swallowtail'' directed by Shunji Iwai, in which she appeared as an actress, was released, and the theme song ``Swallowtail Butterfly ~Ai no Uta~'', which she composed and participated as the vocalist of the band YEN TOWN BAND in the movie, became a huge hit. . Around this time, she gained support as a ``new image of women'' that included lifestyle, and her 1997 album ``Junior Sweet'' recorded sales of over 1 million copies. To commemorate their 50th birthday in January 2018, they held a two-day special live performance with past band members. Furthermore, he released his first picture book (CD included) ``LITTLE HEARTBEAT'' and original album ``Baby Bump.'' February 2019 Chara x BASI “Sweet Night Fever” released. In October, 3 songs including "jOnO"'s first sound source "'Merry Pretender'" were distributed. Their first solo performance in Taiwan is scheduled for January 2020. Naomi Seike (EQ Picture Book Lecturer, Picture Book Mentoring Association)
Lives in Taipei, originally from Hokkaido. As a mother of a child from two home countries, I decided to become a Japanese teacher in order to raise a bi-trilingual child. Currently working as a Japanese language teacher in Taiwan. I read a lot of reference books and testimonials, but every day I was getting stuck in the depths... I was being swayed by information about what I should focus on when raising my children, and the thing that gave me an end was a ``picture book''. ``I want to help the children who will be responsible for the future find more things to love and be excited about!'' she says, practicing picture book parenting. However, if a mother is unsure about how to raise her child or is unable to experience happiness, her family and children will not be happy. I realized that picture book mentoring is the easiest way to develop a happy brain that both adults and children can achieve, so I became an EQ picture book instructor. Currently active mainly in Taiwan.
