An art show will be held in July featuring BLACK SMOKER RECORDS, a music label that continues to pursue only “authenticity” without flattering the times, and Kosuke Kawamura, an artist who crosses culture with his unconventional style. It will be held at "BEAMS T Harajuku" from Friday the 31st.
BLACK SMOKER RECORDS is widely known for the activities of THINK TANK, a rap unit that became famous in the late 90's and early 2000's, and even though it has been over 20 years since its founding, it still has an undiminished desire to produce and a strong commitment to practical work. Armed with the overwhelming skills he has honed, he has captivated discerning music lovers. The territory of his activities sometimes invades the art scene, and the event `` BLACK GALLERY'', which is regarded as an ``annual report'' among fans, features many independent talents, including Kosuke Kawamura.
This exhibition, which will be held at BEAMS T Harajuku as a gallery, will feature the BLACK SMOKER RECORDS logo, which has been redesigned in the style of Kosuke Kawamura, and the collaboration between him and the label's mastermind. We sell hoodies and T-shirts featuring collages created by K-BOMB. At the same time, the two artists' artworks will be exhibited and sold at the venue.
On July 31st (Friday), the first day of launch, a streaming event will be held in which DJs and sound artists connected to BLACK SMOKER RECORDS will be invited and the performance will be streamed in real time. You can view it from BEAMS' official YouTube channel "BEAMS BROADCAST".
On the last Friday of July, gather at `` BEAMS BROADCAST'' and enjoy the performances of cutting-edge artists.

Holding the titles of collage artist, graphic designer, and art director, as a graphic designer he provides graphics for numerous apparel brands and produces collaboration T-shirts. He also designs and directs flyers for live shows and events, DVD/CD jackets, book bindings, advertisements, etc. As a collage artist, he collaborates with various artists and participates in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Japan and overseas. In 2019, the ``AKIRA ART OF WALL Exhibition'' was held at ``PARCO Muse'' in Shibuya.

After working with ``ADS (Asteroid Desert Songs)'' and ``Smurf Men Gumi,'' as a DJ, he has collaborated with and supported many artist DJs both domestically and internationally, and has performed with various artists full of individuality from all over Japan. Every day, he explores an imaginary musical world that crosses fresh and unique genres. As part of his activities as the "Devil's Swamp Crew," he has produced many ambitious works, including DJ mixes, originals, and remixes. On the other hand, based on his many years of experience as a record and CD buyer, he has been active in a wide variety of scenes and spaces related to sound and music. In recent years, he has been actively expanding his activities both domestically and internationally, such as appearing in "Berlin Atonal 2017" and "Meakusma Festival 2018" and providing mixes to overseas radio stations in Europe. A new MIXCD ``Innervisions'' is scheduled to be released soon from BLACK SMOKER RECORDS.

He is active in a wide range of fields, focusing on solo performances using his homemade pipe organ, voice, and water (aquariums), as well as sound installations, film music, and music for dance works. Following his interest (desire) to hear sounds he has never heard before, he explores music while incorporating all kinds of phenomena, media, and situations. In addition to many collaborative works, including the co-created stage play ``Memorym'' (2015) with ∈Y∋ (Bore Dams) and the co-produced performance ``Country Gentlemen'' (2013) with Fuyuki Yamakawa, he has also performed solo at the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum. Live performance at DOMMUNE and solo performance ``NOISEEM'' (a multi-channel sound stage work using multiple aquariums), which was performed at stages such as ``Aquarium'' and Setouchi Triennale, was premiered in 2018, and was performed again at ``TPAM2019.'' After that, it was performed at ``MODE 2019'' in London. Exhibition-style works include ``Invisible Lake'' (2015/Kanagawa Prefectural Sagamiko Exchange Center), which is composed of underwater sounds with the theme of the memory of a village sunk to the bottom of a lake, and ``CELL'', which makes the sounds of fly larvae audible.
