“Great Lucky Charms Market” held to wish 2017 a good year

2016.12.15

With the aim of contributing to regional revitalization across Japan through initiatives with the Mitsukoshi Isetan Group, a new project called "STAND FORT Y_SEVEN" has started to disseminate Japan's excellent products and experiences both domestically and internationally. To do.

As the first step, from December 26th (Monday), 4 stores in Shinjuku: "BEAMS JAPAN," "Isetan Shinjuku Store," "Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store," and "Ginza Mitsukoshi" will be holding a campaign to make 2017 a good year. We will hold a "Great Lucky Charm Market" filled with wishes.

We have a beckoning cat made by Hasami ware from Nagasaki, designed by Swedish potter Lisa Larson, and a beckoning cat and kokeshi doll from Iwate Prefecture featuring illustrations by Yusuke Hanai, an artist whose works with a somewhat nostalgic touch attract viewers. Skajan jackets from Keita Maruyama are embroidered with various lucky charms. A collection of lucky charms arranged by creators and artists with motifs of traditional lucky charms and lucky icons from Tohoku and Kyushu.
