“Shigaraki Yaki Tanuki Festival” is held!

The "Shigaraki Tanuki Festival" will be held from September 8th (Tuesday), where the very popular "Shigaraki Tanuki" items from "BEAMS JAPAN" will be gathered together.
"Shigaraki ware" made in Shigaraki, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture is one of the oldest pottery products in Japan. Among them, the "Shigaraki-yaki raccoon dog" became popular as a lucky charm around the beginning of the Showa era, and you can still often see it on the streets.
During the event, we will be selling not only unique Shigaraki-yaki raccoon dogs specially purchased from Shigaraki-yaki production areas, but also interior items such as Shigaraki-yaki umbrella stands and lanterns.

The Shigaraki Tanuki Festival will be closed from September 19th (Saturday) to September 22nd (Tuesday) as another event will be held. We will reopen from Monday, September 23rd.
