BEAMS JAPAN has Special order a reproduction model of SEIKO 1965 Mechanical Diver's Watch, which was the first domestically produced diver's watch released in 1965. It is also known that Kiyoshi Atsumi, who played the role of Tora-san, wore the original model in the early works of the national movie ``Otoko wa Tsurai yo.'' Half a century after the movie was released, `` SEIKO DIVER'S'' )” and “Otoko wa Tsurai yo” have co-starred once again in collaboration with BEAMS JAPAN.
While reproducing the original design as faithfully as possible, the materials and internal movement have been updated to specifications suitable for modern high-end machines, and gimmicks unique to the collaboration have been incorporated throughout the items.

Color
The dial has been changed to a black dial inspired by the feeling of elation when the inside of a movie theater goes dark.
The case uses Ever Brilliant Steel, which has the world's highest level of corrosion resistance, as the exterior material of the watch, and the movement is equipped with the mechanical caliber ``8L35'' manufactured by the ``Shizukuishi Watch Studio.''
Case back
A special design that adds a tiger's hat and trunk to the "dolphin mark" on the screw back, which is a characteristic of First Divers. The < BEAMS JAPAN > logo and the “Otoko wa Tsurai yo” logo are also specially placed. While pursuing the specs and aesthetics of a diver's watch, we have hidden a sense of chic playfulness within.
In addition, a serial number (001/300~300/300) is written as proof of limited quantity.
Optional Strap
A reinforced silicone band is used that reproduces as closely as possible the design of the rubber strap worn when the watch was released in 1965.
In addition, an optional replacement band is included, inspired by Tora-san's signature beige setup. Just like Tora-san who traveled freely, you can change the band according to your mood at the time.
