BEAMS will be opening a store for the first time at "Virtual Market 5", the world's largest virtual event that attracts over 700,000 visitors from all over the world.
A virtual market is an event where exhibitors and visitors can buy and sell various 3D items such as avatars and real products at a venue located in a VR (virtual reality) space. Anyone can easily participate 24 hours a day from a VR device or PC, allowing visitors to ride vehicles, watch videos, and enjoy communication with each other in the virtual space.
This time, a virtual shop modeled after "BEAMS Harajuku" appears on VR. In addition to real products including items collaborated for this event, you can also purchase 3D model products and receive virtual customer service from avatar staff operated by BEAMS staff, making you feel like you are in another world while staying at home. You can enjoy a mysterious experience.
Also, as special content, Momoiro Clover Z appears incognito! This is a secret chance to experience virtual customer service by the virtual market official avatar “Vket-chan”, which is based on the image of each member.

BEAMS is the first Japanese private company to produce the clothing worn by astronaut Soichi Noguchi (JAXA: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) during his long stay on the International Space Station.
