“HELLO KITTY × BEAMS JAPAN” sales start

Collaboration items between the popular Japanese character HELLO KITTY and BEAMS JAPAN, which curates and disseminates new charms of Japan, will go on sale on Monday, March 6, 2017.
The collaboration items announced this time consist of two series. One is an homage to HELLO KITTY 's archive items, such as flip-flops sold in the 1970s that have been made into sports sandals that have been popular over the past few seasons, and a Boston bag that has been arranged to be easy for adults to carry. This is a nostalgic and new series. Unisex denim caps are also available. The other series is Special order wear and accessories from the sports brand FILA, created by the HELLO KITTY x BEAMS JAPAN project. The three key colors that are common to FILA and HELLO KITTY are red, white, and navy, and HELLO KITTY 's iconic ribbon is used as a motif. Small items such as caps and pouches are decorated with three-dimensional ribbons. Sales of collaboration items will start on March 6th (Monday) at Sanrio directly managed store Sanrioworld GINZA 1F, BEAMS JAPAN (Tokyo, Shinjuku) and BEAMS ONLINE SHOP.

BEAMS JAPAN will set up a special corner from March 6th (Monday) to March 28th (Tuesday) to sell collaboration items, and those who purchase them will be given a special purchase bonus mascot, “ We will give you a limited version of ``Premium''. Premium, which usually has a string attached to it, is now made with a hair tie. It will be delivered to you with the original logo sticker attached to the package.
A project has begun to connect past and present, characters and brands, and companies with HELLO KITTY ribbons.

This is an original series that updates items sold in the 1970s, when HELLO KITTY was born, to modern times. On the day of the event, the first 40 people who purchase "HELLO KITTY x BEAMS JAPAN" collaboration items worth 5,000 yen or more (excluding tax) will receive a handwritten drawing and signature of HELLO KITTY on an original tote bag by HELLO KITTY designer Yuko Yamaguchi. We will hold a meeting. To participate, you will be required to purchase an original tote bag for 1,000 yen (excluding tax).
