An art show by Mayumi Yamase, a Tokyo-based artist who creates colorful and abstract art, will be held at BEAMS T Harajuku from November 19th (Friday).
Mayumi Yamase lived in LA until she was 6 years old, and after returning to Japan, she moved to England at the same time she graduated from high school. Majored in Fine Art at the University of the Arts London and Chelsea College of Arts & Design. Currently based in Tokyo, he has exhibited in London and Singapore, and is working on projects including providing works with various brands and companies. I am. In 2021, we released collaboration items with < NIKE SPORT SWEAR > that received a great response.
The theme of this art show is “HOME”. This theme was born from my experiences in the countries and homes I have lived in. We produced works with the theme of a personal "HOME" based on the interpretation that memories of home are not just the actual house, but the things that are created along with the time spent inside. In addition to displaying and selling art at the event, apparel items incorporating art will also be sold. The lineup includes hoodies, crew neck sweatshirts, and long sleeve T-shirts. In addition, the rugs that are indispensable for "HOME" are available under the supervision of PACIFICA COLLECTIVES, and are available in two sizes, large and small, making them a product group worth seeing.

Mayumi Yamase / Mayumi Yamase
Born in Tokyo.
He spent his childhood in America and moved to England after graduating from high school. Majored in Fine Art at University of the Arts London and Chelsea College of Arts and Design. Currently based in Tokyo. Mainly creates abstract paintings and soft sculptures based on the concept of contrasting reality (body) and invisible fantasy and imagination.
So far, he has participated in the ``Sibcal Festival'' PARCO, exhibited in London and Singapore, and helped create art for Comme des Garçons.
