We have recently relocated the women's floor to the first floor, hired DAIKEI MILLS to design it, and reopened on Friday, March 18th.
In a space where there are no gender boundaries, we offer unique real clothes that will add a fresh element to your wardrobe.
In conjunction with the renewal, a close-up event will be held to showcase < Mame Kurogouchi >'s PRE / MAIN collection for the spring/summer 2022 season, and French jewelry brand <MARIE-HÉLÈNE DE TAILLAC> will launch its fourth special-order item of jewelry. The store will also launch its fourth special-order item, a piece of jewelry by French brand <MARIE-HÉLÈNE DE TAILLAC>. To celebrate the renewal, customers who spend 22,000 yen (including tax) or more on products at the International Gallery BEAMS store will receive an original knapsack designed together with DAIKEI MILLS. In addition, special stickers will be distributed free of charge at the store.

Until now, the mainstream of ``shop design'' has been a short-distance style that instantly incorporates the flavor of the times and continues to create spaces that embody ``now.'' However, can this really be called a fundamentally rich space?
In this project, we seriously faced these questions with the BEAMS team and thoroughly pursued what the future store should be. I am very happy to have been able to create the new "International Gallery BEAMS" together with this big agenda at a time of great change.
However, this shop was not completed the day it opened. After all, it is a relay point, and a place where we can mature together with everyone, including our customers. I hope that we can enjoy a rich long-distance run together while taking various detours.
All DAIKEI MILLS
This women's renovation is a milestone, and it has been decided that the shop that started on the first basement floor will move to the second floor and will open on a minimum scale in 2021. For the renovation, we asked DAIKEI MILLS to design the store so that it would be a place where people can create relationships and communicate as an added value to ``purchasing in-store.'' What the new space encompasses is inheritance and what we want to cherish for the future.
The new store, which has been in the Harajuku area for a long time, is just like the diverse and free atmosphere of the people who come and go on the front and back streets of Harajuku.It is a fashion shop that is not limited by age or style. , it is a "select shop" for people who are interested in various fields related to daily life, including art, music, and food culture, and the labels with various images of BEAMS gathered in the tenant building intersect. By being located on the first floor, we also value the feeling of an ``entrance'' that stimulates fashion ``curiosity.''

A design office based in Tokyo, Japan, founded by Keisuke Nakamura.

A site-specific space that can only be created on the spot by seriously considering the existing space and its future use, gently linking sculptural shapes and simple planes, and using outstanding materials. produce.
In 2020, we launched SKWAT, a movement to occupy VOIDs (idle facilities and social gaps) in cities for a limited time and release them to the public using various methods.

We will hold a close-up event where you can see the Mame Kurogouchi 2022SS PRE / MAIN collection, so that you can enjoy the elation that comes from wearing clothes.
Returning to the designer's roots, the Spring/Summer 2022 collection was born from various textures and color palettes collected from the rich nature of Nagano, where he was born and raised. The Real Close PRE collection uses a variety of materials to express natural nuances, such as energetic green colors reminiscent of the budding of trees and plants, and natural beige and olive colors reminiscent of leaves in late autumn. You can also take a look at the MAIN collection, which includes special wear made from jacquard fabric with beautiful color gradations reminiscent of a pale spring landscape.
