We are now accepting orders for T-shirts commemorating the release of the Japanese wheelchair basketball national team documentary book “Another REAL”!

2022.08.24

“Another REAL”, a book written by the “Real” (Takehiko Inoue) reporting team that depicts the trajectory of the Japanese wheelchair basketball national team over 20 years leading up to the silver medal, will be published on Thursday, August 25, 2022, one year after the Tokyo Paralympics. It will be released on.
To commemorate their release, BEAMS has produced two models of T-shirts and will be accepting orders from August 25th (Thursday).

Two models of T-shirts were created to commemorate the book's release, with designs added to the cover illustration drawn by manga artist Takehiko Inoue. The model with a rough sketch printed on the front comes in a special package of the book set. The color scheme of the cover illustration has been changed, and the model with a more stylish print on the back is available as a T-shirt in three colors.
Both models have an English translation of the phrase "How did Japan's wheelchair basketball team become so strong?" on the bottom left of the front.

Orders for both special packages and individual T-shirts will be accepted at the "BEAMS ONLINE SHOP." This product is a made-to-order product that can only be purchased by those who place an order.

The "Real" (Takehiko Inoue) reporting team has published a book about the more than 20 years of history leading up to the silver medal at the Tokyo Paralympic Games.
Japan's men's wheelchair basketball team "Tokon Nippon" won the first silver medal in history at the Tokyo Paralympic Games. What were Japanese players thinking and fighting against as they suffered defeat after defeat? What made Japanese players, who have been said to have different physiques and a different basketball culture, come to be on par with the rest of the world? The ``Real'' reporting team, who has been following the team for over 20 years, approaches the team on its path to the silver medal.
