​ALFONSO SIRICA , a tailor who started out in 1982 in a town on the outskirts of Naples under his own name, creates handmade Neapolitan-style suits. He will be holding an order event at BEAMS Roppongi Hills and BEAMS HOUSE Umeda.
Based on the belief that "all clothing is determined by patterns and cutting," the company has introduced CAD (Computer Aided Design), which is rare among Neapolitan tailors, to create precise patterns. Each piece is carefully cut, taking the time to cut it out, and then the pattern is placed again during the interlining process to correct any dimensional discrepancies. While preserving the traditions of Neapolitan tailoring, the company makes extensive use of its own techniques to achieve perfect pattern matching and beautiful stitching, while retaining the warmth of handwork.
