DANTON is a French workwear manufacturer founded in 1935. It is a long-established French brand that handles kitchen wear, workwear, uniforms, etc. Based on the brand's standard item "inner down jacket," BEAMS COUTURE BEAMS COUTURE be releasing a total of five hand-made items from Thursday, November 3rd (holiday).
Please look forward to items with feminine designs such as silhouettes and ribbon details that are unique to BEAMS COUTURE.
Additionally, we asked Hitomi Nomura, who is active as a brand director and photographer, to create the visuals. This is her first collaboration with BEAMS COUTURE which resonates with her worldview and is also the director of the vintage select shop MARTE in Harajuku and Shinjuku, Tokyo. Please take a look at the visuals that are a fusion of Mr. Nomura's sensibilities, which are centered on the MIX styling of DANTON x BEAMS COUTURE and MARTE, and give you a modern yet natural comfort.
Additionally, in conjunction with the launch of DANTON x BEAMS COUTURE, a pop-up shop for MARTE will be held at BEAMS News. Vintage women's items from the 1970s to 1990s purchased in the United States will be available for a limited time.
