Keiji Muto

Belongs to Pro Wrestling Noah. A professional wrestling master that Japan's professional wrestling scene is proud of. During the New Japan era, he led the 90s with Shinya Hashimoto and Masahiro Chono's Fighting Spirit Three Musketeers. After transferring to All Japan, he served as president and founded WRESTLE-1 in 2013. In March 2018, he performed his final moonsault press and underwent artificial joint surgery on both knees. He returned on June 26, 2019 at Riki Choshu's last match performance. After suspending WRESTLE-1 activities in April 2020, he participated in Noah as a freelancer. After winning the GHC Heavyweight Championship in a title match at Nippon Budokan in February 2021, he suddenly joined Noah. He became the third person in Japanese professional wrestling history to achieve a Grand Slam (conquering the singles championships of three major organizations). On February 21, 2013, Noah announced his retirement from active play at the Tokyo Dome Tournament.

In 1989, he appeared on the NWA mat in the United States as "The Son of the Great Kabuki" and became known as one of the best heels in America. He appeared in Japan in 1990 and was active, winning the IWGP Championship. When he appeared in All Japan in 2002, he changed from paint to a creepy mask with a poisonous spider on it, and in October of the same year, he stole the Triple Crown title. After that, it evolved into various variations. In April 2019, he made a surprise appearance at New Japan Pro Wrestling's Madison Square Garden tournament. In September 2022, he suddenly appeared at the AEW Queens Tournament, rescued his former rival Sting, and combined with him in an electric shock. On New Year's Day 2023, a miraculous singles match will take place with WWE's SHINSUKE NAKAMURA. The match at Noah Yokohama Arena on January 22 of the same year was the Muta final match.
