BEAMS RECORDS will now carry Teenage Engineering, a Stockholm-based company that has released unique electronic musical instruments including synthesizers since its establishment in 2005.
A number of products that combine a playful product concept that is not bound by preconceived ideas and a simple yet pop and retro design have attracted not only professionals but also a wide range of music creators. One of its appeals is its design philosophy, which stimulates the user's creativity, including its minimalist features that reduce the complexity of electronic musical instruments, its compact size, and its high flexibility to be used outdoors.
This POP-UP SHOP will be an opportunity to see up close and try out the unique items that the brand has released so far. Please come and take this opportunity to experience the appeal of Teenage Engineering from multiple angles.
Teenage Engineering
A Swedish company founded in 2005 by Jesper Kouthoofd, David Eriksson, Jens Rudberg and David Möllerstedt and based in Stockholm. He has released many playful products, including synthesizers centered around the OP-1.
Their signature product and first product, the OP-1, was announced at the 2010 NAMM Show and was well received by many people, not just musicians, and won the Swedish Design S Awards in 10 categories in 2012. I won one of them. Based on a free idea that is not bound by existing musical instrument concepts, we successfully combine modern and retro designs and have introduced many products such as the Pocket Operator series and OB-4 to the world.
