The lineup includes collaboration items with famous items from places related to director Yasujiro Ozu, as well as a total of 15 types that trace the history and personality of Japan's famous director.

Director Yasujiro Ozu has continued to capture the Japanese people and heart in his unique style, most notably with the film ``Tokyo Story.'' The so-called "Ozu style", which refined his unique low-position technique, had a great influence on film directors around the world. This year, which marks the 120th anniversary of director Ozu's birth, Shochiku Co., Ltd. and locations around the country connected to director Ozu are collaborating to hold a series of commemorative screenings and events.
< BEAMS JAPAN > will release special collaboration items for this project in July and September. Following on from the success of the first series, this second series will feature items with the unique essence of < BEAMS JAPAN > added to local products from Matsusaka City in Mie Prefecture, where director Yasujiro Ozu spent his youth, and Chino City in Nagano Prefecture, where he wrote his screenplays in his later years.
