How to enjoy “LIGHT UP MARKET”
The Christmas market is a traditional festival that is essential during the Christmas season and has continued throughout Europe since the Middle Ages. At FUJI GATEWAY, we have planned ``LIGHT UP MARKET'' as a new winter tradition in Yamanashi Prefecture that everyone from children to adults who love playing outside can enjoy to their heart's content on weekends in December.
The highlight is the lanterns, which you should experience at least once in your life! Approximately 400 ``lanterns'' will be released at an altitude of 1,000 meters, facing a clear, star-filled sky, to the heartwarming music of Yamanashi-based singer-songwriter Miyako Irikura.
The lanterns, which are flown into the night sky to pray with your loved ones, illuminate the great nature at the foot of Mt. Fuji in a fantastical way, creating a photogenic view, so be sure to make your reservation early.
In addition, the venue will be lit up in Christmas style for a limited time, creating a bright and lively atmosphere.
In the wood deck/fire pit area, you can enjoy food and beverage booths unique to a Christmas market, sales of ornaments and fashion items, and Christmas ornaments, including the nature education program "Juka Forest" that stimulates the five senses, which is popular with children, while surrounding a warm bonfire. We are offering workshops such as ``Making Crafts'' and fairs, so please come and see us.

A fantastic space that lights up the foot of Mt. Fuji! “Lantern Light Up ~Let’s light up the Christmas night sky~”
Approximately 400 lanterns are released every weekend at an altitude of 1,000 meters into the clear, star-filled sky.

Singer-songwriter Miyako Irikura
Focusing on piano playing and singing, he has performed at many live shows, tours, and collaborated with various artists. In addition to regular radio and TV programs and commercial tie-ups, she moved to Yamanashi in 2011 and established sora music with her drummer husband, Ryo Irikura, and sang the theme song for the Yamanashi National Festival. In addition to providing music and producing artists, he has studied with many students at the music school in his home studio, and has produced winners on UTY's karaoke show.
The song ``It's become big,'' which he announced at his eldest daughter's graduation, has been viewed more than 1.7 million times on YouTube and is being sung around the world. In the winter of 2021, he will be in charge of the ending song "Tsuki no Namida" for the fireworks show "FUN OUT!" sponsored by Amuse.

FG KITCHEN, a cafe located in a free space inside FUJI GATEWAY, offers stews and clam chowder that warm you from the core, as well as limited edition food such as fish and chips and meat pies that go well with beer, as well as two types of pasta. You can enjoy a variety of meals.

We are holding a workshop where you can create Christmas ornaments and goods using pine cones and pine needles grown in nature. A workshop booth for "Juka no Mori," a nature education program that stimulates the five senses and is very popular at Fuji Subaru Land, will also be set up. Let's make memories around the bonfire!

The Christmas shop will not only carry Christmas-related goods and local products from Yamanashi Prefecture and the Fuji northern foothills area, but also items from the select shop BEAMS will be available for a limited time. We will also be holding an outlet market where you can purchase recommended gifts and winter accessories such as mufflers, gloves, hats, and miscellaneous goods from B:MING by BEAMS by BEAMS HEART, BEAMS mini, and BEAMS JAPAN at affordable prices.

FUJI GATEWAY is a multi-purpose leisure facility located at the entrance to Mt. Fuji and the northern foot of Mt. Fuji, about 5 minutes by car from the Kawaguchiko Interchange on the expressway. Centered around the natural grass park and field at the foot of Mt. Fuji, it is the base of the guided tour "FUJI GATEWAY CRUISE CLUB" where you can play around in the great outdoors, and the forest theme park "Fuji Subaru Land" that can be enjoyed by the whole family. There is also a ``FUJI GATEWAY CAMP FIELD'' where you can easily experience camping while running around.
