The second “Meriken Park Cleanup Project” will be held on March 20th (Wednesday, holiday)! Joint project between Kobe City, BEAMS, and Starbucks Coffee Kobe Meriken Park store
2024.03.12
BEAMS is cooperating with the creation of an environmentally friendly "minato" in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, and will be holding the "Meriken Park Cleanup Project", a cleanup event in the Kobe Port area, together with Starbucks Coffee Kobe Meriken Park store this year.
This event will be held for one day only on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 (national holiday), and anyone is free to participate without prior registration. This cleanup event will tour the areas around Sannomiya and Motomachi to Meriken Park in order to create a beautiful and comfortable town and port, and to provide an opportunity for citizens to think about various environmental issues.
This time as well, we are also offering a special "upcycle" novelty event where designs from the "Meriken Park Cleanup Project" will be printed live on the spot. In the upcycling project, which is available only on the day of the event, T-shirts that can no longer be sold for various reasons will be silkscreen printed on the spot and handed to participants. The print design is an original design from the same project, and is a limited edition color this year inspired by Kobe's magic hour.
Please pick up a special bag at a designated BEAMS store or Starbucks store, enjoy a walk to Meriken Park, and participate in this event to clean up Kobe's "town" and "minato".
