Blue Note Tokyo, BOOKWORKS and BEAMS T have teamed up to release the jazz-inspired "Three The Jazz Way" collection.

Blue Note Tokyo, a jazz club with its flagship store in New York that opened in November 1988, and BOOKWORKS, a New York brand whose jazz-inspired items have taken street scenes around the world by storm. A triple collaboration item between the two companies and BEAMS T will be available at BEAMS T Harajuku from Sunday, July 14th.
Based on the theme of “THREE THE JAZZ WAY,” this collection incorporates BOOKWORKS’ iconic font and classic designs and includes four items in total: a cap, a tote bag, and two T-shirts.
Like jazz music built on the chord progressions of standard numbers, this piece adds new harmonies to the world of Blue Note Tokyo, known as "The Jazz Capital of the World."
To commemorate the release of this collection, a launch event will be held at BEAMS T Harajuku.
Through a collection that combines the free spirit of jazz with sophisticated design, and DJ sets by Oskar Mann, founder of BOOKWORKS, and two DJs recommended by Blue Note Tokyo, all music and fashion lovers can enjoy a new groove.

Chloé Juliette
DJ/selector from France, currently living in Tokyo. She is one of the organizers of the party "WAIFU", which aims to be a safe space with a queer and feminist theme. She is a digger-spirited DJ who is adept at playing everything from leftfield house to dub, ambient and electronic music, without compromising on her own aesthetic. She is also a resident with a show on LYL Radio in France, and has released guest mixes on numerous international platforms.

CÉSAR (ALI)-ALIEN LIBERTY INTERNATIONAL-
CESAR, who also has a career as a guitarist and DJ in the multinational band "ALI," which is made up of half-Japanese members, crosses over genres such as funk, soul, jazz, and Latin, which are the band's roots.

Oskar Mann
He graduated from the New School University's Jazz & Contemporary Music program in 2005 and is an award-winning musician, producer, sound engineer, DJ and radio personality, primarily working with Saturday Night Live, Allido Records, Wax Poetics Magazine, East Village Radio, Red Bull Studios New York and The Lot Radio.
