BEAMS SPORTS has teamed up with Kawasaki Frontale and PUMA to create an apparel collection for Kawasaki Frontale supporters!

BEAMS SPORTS, a brand that creates opportunities for people to feel closer to BEAMS sports culture developed by BEAMS, has collaborated with Kawasaki Frontale, a member of the Japan Professional Football League (J-League), and PUMA, the team's uniform supplier, to create an apparel collection that focuses on the team's supporters, local residents, staff, and families of players. The collection will be unveiled at the Meiji Yasuda J1 League match against Vissel Kobe to be held at Uvance Todoroki Stadium by Fujitsu on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, and will be available for pre-order on Kawasaki Frontale's online shop "AZZURRO NERO" from the same day.

The eight items are based on the concept of "Aokuroko," which likens the team's supporters to "Kuroko (black-clad female characters)," and are designed based on the team's iconic blue and black colors, with the active players as "blue" and the people who support them behind the scenes as "black." The Puma brand logo and Kawasaki Frontale emblem are also colored in a two-tone blue and black color scheme, making each item a special design.
The project was undertaken by BEAMS Masuko Yuichiro, who is also a supporter of Kawasaki Frontale. With the idea in mind, "As a part of walking together with the local community and Kawasaki Frontale, we want people to wear items that lift their spirits both in their daily lives and at the stadium," he created fashion items that are also "functional enough to make watching the game comfortable."
In addition to the flower motif pattern that evokes the image of flowers blooming in a stadium, we paid attention to every detail, such as the detachable design that can be used for changes in weather and temperature, pocket details for storing cheering goods, and a size that makes it easy to wear daily.

In addition, the first 1,000 customers who purchase apparel items through the made-to-order sales will receive a free FLOWER eco bag.

In addition, we created a look and image movie to express "Aokuroko" using the stadium and the city of Kawasaki, which are familiar to Kawasaki Frontale supporters and local residents, as the setting.
