"BEAMS JAPAN Maizuru" opens on Saturday, September 14th

BEAMS JAPAN will open "BEAMS JAPAN Maizuru" in "atick," a complex that will open on the site of the former Bunkoyama facility in Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture on Saturday, September 14th.
In addition to famous products from all over Japan selected by BEAMS JAPAN from its own unique perspective, the store will also feature items created in collaboration with businesses in the Kyoto and Tango regions.
A variety of items are available, including products using Tango Chirimen by Tango Chirimen Orimoto Tayu and Tatetsunagi, as well as products featuring original illustrations by Kyotango City-based ceramic artist DAISAK and design unit COCHAE. The original items were inspired by the Kitamae-bune ships that transported goods and culture from all over Japan across the Sea of Japan from the Edo period to the Meiji period, and were created with the theme of "safe travel" and white as the key color, reminiscent of a ship's sail.

Enjoy a pleasant time gazing at Maizuru Bay, one of the best ports on the Japan Coast, with its undulating, beautiful terrain and calm waves that are unique to the ria coast.
