"Osechi Japan," a New Year's meal created by Ishii Foods Co., Ltd. and BEAMS JAPAN that allows you to enjoy the whole of Japan, was well received last year and is back this year.
The 16 dishes and accessories are divided into eight regions of Japan, and are made using ingredients and products from each region, with the hope that you will feel the "charm of Japan." The tiered boxes, celebratory chopsticks, and zodiac figurines also have auspicious meanings, making this a New Year's feast to celebrate the start of a new year.
In addition, this year, we have revamped the look of the osechi so that you can not only "eat" it, but also "experience" it. Those who purchased "Osechi Japan" last year can use the tiered box again this year, and can also arrange the food in their favorite dishes at home instead of the tiered box.
*Sold with or without the bento box.

The box is made from Echizen lacquerware, a craft that has been made in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture and its surrounding areas for over 1,500 years.
The orange color is BEAMS' corporate color and is associated with the auspicious meaning of "prosperity for generations to come." The gold BEAMS JAPAN logo on the lid is a highlight.
The figurine, depicting the snake, which is the zodiac sign for 2025, was produced by CHUGAI TOEN, a ceramic craft manufacturer in Seto, Aichi Prefecture, founded in 1952. It is painted gold and features the BEAMS JAPAN logo.
The chopstick case for the celebratory chopsticks was made by Aritaka Senzando, an Iyo Mizuhiki manufacturer founded in Shikokuchuo City, Ehime Prefecture in 1930, and the chopsticks were made by Yamachiku, a bamboo chopsticks manufacturer founded in 1963. The combination of the beautifully finished chopsticks with the simple orange Mizuhiki chopstick case adds even more color to "Osechi Japan."
Following on from last year, as a testament to this collaboration, we are offering Ishii's best-selling product, "Ishii's Obentokun Meatballs," and "Kumquat," inspired by BEAMS' corporate color. This year's "Ishii's Obentokun Meatballs" are 1.5 times the size of the original, making them even more voluminous.
The meatballs represent "peace" (everything will work out happily and continue forever), the candied domestic kumquats represent "happiness" (kumquats, which resemble oranges, represent "prosperity for generations"), and the Chikuzenni boiled domestic vegetables represent "good relationships" (as various ingredients are simmered together, everyone will be bound together in good relationships).

This year, in addition to the Sample Kobo. These are special items that are food samples that look just like the real "Ishii's Obento-kun Meatballs."

Ishii Foods Co., Ltd. and BEAMS JAPAN will continue to offer Osechi, a lucky dish eaten to celebrate the new year and wish everyone a healthy and happy life this year. We hope you will all enjoy the simple and gentle flavors of traditional Japanese cuisine.

Director's Comment

Yuri Ota, Director of BEAMS JAPAN
This year, we are proposing that customers who purchased last year's osechi bento boxes be able to reuse their existing boxes. We hope that everyone will enjoy this year's celebratory chopsticks, as well as the traditional process of packing osechi by checking the auspicious meaning of each one while looking at the attached menu.
