BEAMS will participate in Japan's largest drag queen event "OPULENCE Volume 5"! The second edition of the popular sunglasses from the previous event will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis (Updated October 25, 2024)

BEAMS will be participating in Japan's largest drag event, "OPULENCE volume 5." This will be the second time we have participated, and for the first time, we will be holding two performances of "OPULENCE" in Tokyo and Osaka.

BEAMS believes that diversity in fashion fosters values that respect each individual's way of life and recognizes each other's individuality. In sympathy with the barrier-free enjoyment of fashion and self-expression embodied in drag culture, we will be giving away original sunglasses to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis, as we did last time (※).
This time, we have prepared a total of seven types of sunglasses, six types of sunglasses and one secret pair. One of the seven types will be given to you at random. With the desire to encourage you to enjoy fashion, the secret pair of sunglasses will come with BEAMS GIFT CARD.

"OPULENCE" is a drag event derived from the popular American TV show "RuPaul's Drag Race," hosted by RuPaul, known as the Godmother of Drag. The fabulous sunglasses produced by BEAMS are inspired by the "Reading Challenge" that takes place every season on the show, and are sure to make you shine even more as you enjoy the event.
