Illustrator Hikaru Ichijo's solo exhibition "fragile" will be held at B GALLERY on the 5th floor BEAMS JAPAN (Shinjuku).

From Friday, December 20th, a solo exhibition by illustrator Hikaru Ichijo will be held at B GALLERY on the 5th floor BEAMS JAPAN (B GALLERY).
This will be the artist's first solo exhibition in Tokyo in three years, and he will exhibit and sell works that feature unique compositions and color schemes on the theme of "the strength that lies beneath fragility and transience."
To commemorate this exhibition, we have produced a TEMBEA baguette tote featuring Hikaru Ichijo's illustrations, as well as a collaboration item with tie-dye artisan YUKIDYE. In addition, we will be selling a beaker-shaped vase and packing tape that were created to match the title of the exhibition, "fragile."
An opening party is planned for the first day, Friday, December 20th. Please take advantage of this opportunity.

Hikaru Ichijo
He has been working as an illustrator since 2018. He focuses on colorful expression based on printing techniques and on graphic, healthy illustrations. By not depicting faces, he intends to avoid judging people based on values of beauty and ugliness. He is active in a wide range of fields, mainly in books, advertisements, and packaging.
