The pop-up "HOUSE OF HORRORS," which expresses horror, splatter, sci-fi, and the occult in a variety of ways, will be held for the first time in two years on the 4th floor BEAMS JAPAN (Shinjuku).

2025.10.20

A pop-up shop called "HOUSE OF HORRORS" offering a variety of horror-themed items will be held at TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS on the 4th floor BEAMS JAPAN (Shinjuku) from Friday, October 24th to Monday, November 3rd (national holiday).

Horror culture and the Halloween event have taken root in Japan, and over the years the concept of "horror" has been incorporated into pop culture, despite its inherent nature. This event, "HOUSE OF HORRORS," will explore the appeal of horror by going back to the 1930s, the dawn of horror movies, and the 1980s, the heyday of slasher movies.

This pop-up shop, the second in two years, will sell AP, an alternative poster released by Bottleneck Gallery in New York, signed by the artist. It will also feature Naoya, the artist behind the main visual. Original artwork will be on display and for sale, and risographs and sweaters will also be released. Furthermore, up-and-coming soft vinyl maker KAZUO TOYS will release a pop-up-exclusive color version of the soft vinyl doll "STA THE COTT," a collaboration with Rockin' Jelly Bean.

To commemorate the opening, a reception party will be held at the store on Friday, October 24th from 6pm. Please come and enjoy this one-night-only special event.
*Admission is free and anyone can participate.
