Creating the future of clothing together. BEAMS' sustainable initiatives begin on Monday, November 10th.

The clothes that our customers have cherished contain irreplaceable stories. Rather than just selling them and leaving it at that, we continue to support the items until the day when the customer decides to let go of them. We connect the value of clothing to the future. This is the cycle of fashion that BEAMS aims for.
We have been collecting clothing since 2022 (from November 2022 to October 2025), and have collected approximately 20,000 kg of clothing so far. The actions of each and every customer are definitely contributing to the future.
To further expand this wonderful cycle, BEAMS will be implementing three initiatives to show our appreciation to our customers. We look forward to your participation.

1. Passing on thoughtful clothing to the future

During this campaign, customers who bring in clothing they no longer wear to a store will receive 1,000 BEAMS CLUB action miles. BEAMS supports the action of connecting thoughtful clothing to the future.

2. "BEAMS Life Yokohama" Exclusive! "Repair and Maintenance Experience Workshop"

BEAMS Atelier is a repair shop that uses its long-cultivated knowledge of fashion to propose the best repair, care, remake, and customization for each customer. During the event, the BEAMS Atelier at BEAMS Life Yokohama will be holding a Repair and Maintenance Experience Workshop where you can experience the skills of professionals. The professionals at BEAMS Atelier will help you solve any clothing problems you may have!

Workshop menu examples: size adjustment, repairing torn fabric, attaching buttons, mending frayed edges, maintenance of leather shoes, remaking, etc.

3. An exhibition of remade items, transforming secondhand clothing into unique and valuable items

BEAMS Life Yokohama will host a special exhibition that will breathe new life into collected clothing.
This initiative focuses on a wide variety of second-hand clothing collected through the nationwide collection platform "PASSTO," including BEAMS stores. From this vast stock, unique items with potential for remaking are carefully selected. By combining the techniques of the "BEAMS Workshop" with the discerning eye of our staff, we propose a new way to enjoy fashion by transforming second-hand clothing into "valuable one-of-a-kind items."
The venue will showcase special styling created by remaking carefully selected vintage clothing. This is a space where you can experience the passion and potential of BEAMS for a future where valuable clothing will be cherished for a long time. It will be an exciting encounter for fashion lovers and vintage clothing lovers.

This project is being carried out as part of a public demonstration experiment that was adopted as part of the "FY2024 Supplementary Budget Model Demonstration Project for Establishing a System for Collecting Used Clothing," led by the Ministry of the Environment.
