"100th Anniversary of Yakumo's Wooden Bear Carvings"

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of wooden carved bears in Yakumo-cho, Hokkaido, and BEAMS JAPAN will be selling special commemorative products. In addition to selling stuffed toys based on the wooden carved bears of Hokkaido-based illustrator Masao Takahata and original illustration goods, the extensive lineup will include new products using Kumohachi-kun, the trademark of Yakumo-cho.
