Linen is a material that is treated as a general term for linen, ramie, and hemp. Although there are different types, they are characterized by their firmness and cool texture. The natural texture, moisture absorption, and dry touch that are unique to natural materials make this material attractive.

This BEAMS PLUS work shirt is made from yarn-dyed plain-woven linen chambray. Based on the work shirts of the 1940s, it features asymmetrical pocket work with a mountain pocket on the left chest and a patch pocket on the right chest. The details are designed to give it a work-like feel.

[Size and Coordination]
It has a slightly loose silhouette that is typical of a work shirt. It can be worn alone, or coordinated with a tank top or henley neck.

COOL MAX(R)

Developed in the 1980s, this material has excellent water absorption and quick drying properties. It also has the benefits of being breathable and wrinkle-resistant. BEAMS PLUS mainly uses fabrics that are blended with natural materials, with an emphasis on natural textures.

A classic Oxford button-down shirt updated with a comfortable fabric. Features include a left chest pocket with V-stitching and a collar designed for on/off wear. The side seams are narrow (3mm) with a lock stitch, and the overall number of stitches is set at 18 stitches per 3cm for balance. All processes are completed by skilled craftsmen in Japan. The bottoms of both sides have a + mark bar closure, which is a typical BEAMS PLUS accent.

Indian Madras

Made from Indian cotton, this material feels light. It features the texture of natural materials and the soft feel of cotton. This series is attractive for its deep Madras check pattern that changes every year.

This is a classic shirt that BEAMS PLUS releases every year with a different pattern. The fitting has been newly added to the classic fit, making it a relaxed shirt. The material is a traditional Madras check woven in the southeastern region of India (now Chennai). The fabric is hand-dyed, woven and sun-dried, giving it the lightness that is unique to lightweight Indian cotton.

[Size and Coordination]
This shirt features a relaxed pattern with more room in the chest and shoulders than regular BEAMS PLUS button-down shirts, creating a casual look.
