今年、20周年の節目を迎えた＜ビームスT（BEAMS T）＞。“ART FOR EVERYDAY”をスローガンに掲げ、アーティスティックなグラフィックをTシャツというキャンバスで表現し続けています。その歴史の中で知名度を問わず、現場目線のアンテナがキャッチしたアーティストやブランドに出会ってきました。今回、フォーカスするのは花井祐介さん。グローバルブランドからのラブコールが絶えないほど人気のアーティストです。＜ビームスT＞では、何度も取り組みを重ねてきましたが、それに至った経緯から想いをアトリエで聞いてきました。
This year, BEAMS T celebrated its 20th anniversary. Under the slogan "ART FOR EVERYDAY”, the company has continued to express artistic graphics on the canvas of T-shirts. In the course of its history, it has encountered artists and brands that its on-the-spot antennae have caught, regardless of their fame. This time, our focus is on Yusuke Hanai. He is an artist so popular that he is constantly receiving special requests from global brands. BEAMS T and Yusuke have worked on various projects together over the years. In his atelier, we asked him about how it all started and his thoughts on it.
