Hirosaki Kogin Research Institute/Hirosaki Kogin Kenkyujo

At the recommendation of Soetsu Yanagi and others, the Kimura Industrial Research Institute began basic research on ``Kogin'' and worked to revive it, and in 1962 the research was taken over by the Hirosaki Kogin Research Institute. Our social mission is to carefully inherit traditional crafts and pass them on correctly, and we continue to promote Tsugaru Koginzashi as a local brand every day.
