It was four years ago that Kodomo BEAMS developed its original study desk. The desks are popular and are used by many people, as they not only allow children to concentrate on their studies comfortably, but also have designs and functions that children will want to have even as adults.
Furthermore, this year, we have created an original chair that matches the desk. The chair, developed in conjunction with Tokyo Landscape Products, has a clean design that allows the seat height to be adjusted to two levels, and includes a step that is said to help children improve their concentration. It's a simple and nice chair that adults who know what they really need can choose it for their children. Like the desk, the chair is manufactured at the Cedar Factory in Ukiha City, Fukuoka Prefecture. This is a historic factory that has a history of being highly praised for its wooden school supplies such as children's desks, chairs, and vaulting boxes, and has been recommended by the Ministry of Education. Even today, we are committed to domestic production, and all of the parts we use are certified by JIS, which has the lowest standards for formaldehyde, and are certified as VOD (Volatile Organic We are also actively working on countermeasures (compounds).
