A modern, real vintage five-pocket denim that is packed with BEAMS' signature attention to detail, from the yarn to the product processing.

■Details
The original BEAMS fit has a waist pocket for easy care. A drawstring is placed at the waist so it can be worn without a belt. The stitching thread is covered with cotton so that it will fade with repeated wear, just like denim. We have avoided flashy distressing to create jeans that have been worn carefully for three years. The realistic wear is based on the real vintage jeans that served as the motif for this model. Various techniques, including hand bleaching, are used for the processing to create a realistic and unique look.

■Size
[Relaxed wide fit]
The design recreates the tight waist of vintage pants, while giving a relaxed, wide silhouette with room in the hips like pleated pants.

■ Material
This denim uses 12.5oz selvedge denim that was recreated by disassembling and analyzing a product from the 1947s. Leaf residue is intentionally blended into the warp threads to recreate the neps and unstable weave caused by the rough spinning technology of the time. The denim will develop a worn-in feel with washing and wearing.
