I wanted these wide-cut sweatpants to be more than just relaxing wear; I wanted them to be a "pair of stylish pants." They're designed with ample volume around the hips, while the heavy fabric keeps the silhouette from collapsing. The thing I spent the most time on this time was expressing the faded look created by distressing and bleaching. If I overdid it, it would look fake, but if I didn't do enough, it would just look processed. I revised samples countless times to find the right balance, and finally arrived at a realistic look that I was satisfied with. They're rough, but calculated. That balance is the core of these pants. I think they've turned out to be a highly refined pair, combining a worn-in look with the comfort that only heavyweight fleece can provide.
