Recreating the repair marks
■ Design
This design is based on a 1940s USMC "P-41" herringbone twill jacket. Based on measurements of an individual jacket whose long sleeves were cut off during the war, the balance of this short-sleeved shirt has been reconstructed. The letters "PW," signifying Prisoner of War, are stencil-printed on the back. The aging process, which reproduces the repair marks and fabric wear of the time, adds visual depth to the design.

This garment uses cotton herringbone twill that replicates the look and feel of vintage clothing. The herringbone weave is raised, and the fabric is designed to resist fading from prolonged use.
