The news page is here!This scarf is made using Tango Chirimen, a fabric made by a weaver with 150 years of history in the Tango region of Kyoto Prefecture.
It is characterized by fine unevenness called "shibo" which is created by using tightly twisted yarn for the weft.
We have developed our own digital dyeing technology that is high-quality and resistant to fading, so that even the inside of delicate uneven surfaces can be beautifully dyed.
Although it is made from traditional materials, the vibrant colors can be enjoyed for a long time. The design features two unique small patterns from Sankyoden on one piece, and the charm is that you can enjoy different looks depending on how you fold and tie it.
Measuring approximately 50cm square, this versatile item can be used not only as a scarf but also as a small furoshiki.
