The fabric, created in collaboration with textile designer Ugai Kanna, is characterized by its rich colors when unfolded. This convenient folding umbrella is lightweight and compact, so you can keep it in your bag and use it whenever it rains. Repel was created in collaboration with textile designer Ugai Kanna. All of the fabrics used in Makita Shoten umbrellas are woven fabrics, and are sewn, assembled, and carefully finished by craftsmen using techniques cultivated in the production of clothing fabrics, resulting in beautiful umbrellas of unparalleled quality.

Kanna Ugai
Textile designer. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University and its graduate school. In 2017, she launched the fashion brand "Ugai" and holds order events twice a year. The variety of design proposals that spread out from a single textile continues to attract many fans.
