A simple form that blends in with nature
These wind chimes are made by Nousaku, a casting manufacturer founded in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture in 1916. These slim wind chimes are made using the casting and processing techniques of "imono," a method of pouring heated, molten metal into a mold, and then removing it from the mold after it has cooled and solidified. They are finished with a clear coating to bring out the color of the brass. To bring out the beauty of the material, craftsmen apply a lathe finish to each one by hand. Enjoy the clear sound that only brass can produce.
