Hokuyo Glass, which used to be a manufacturer of floats, has taken these floats, which were difficult to dispose of, and given them a new life in the "DOUBLE F" series. The deep blue-green color and air bubbles are the simple expression of floats that once floated in the sea.
This flower vase has an appealing and tasteful texture that evokes memories of the sea of Aomori.

*About BEAMS JAPAN original wrapping serviceFounded in 1949, Hokuyo Glass, the manufacturer of Tsugaru Vidro, started out as a manufacturer of floating balls for fishing. The floating balls that blow up were praised for their reliable quality, and in 1973 they became the top producer in Japan. This is a workshop that creates handmade glass that evokes the image of Aomori's nature, using techniques such as ``air blowing'' cultivated over many years of manufacturing floating beads.
