A Special order stool by Akita Mokko, created by Isamu Kenmochi, a leading figure in the Japanese industrial design world.
The woven rattan seat combines simple beauty with functionality, and the legs feature the BEAMS JAPAN logo in this special edition.

This chair is handmade by the skilled craftsmen of Akita Mokko, a company with a long history of specializing in bentwood techniques. It is light enough to be held in one hand, yet sturdy and durable, and its beautiful curves make it hard to believe it was made from a tree that once stood upright.
The seat is wide and firm, providing a stable and comfortable seating experience. The woven rattan seat also conforms to the body for a comfortable sitting experience.

■Precautions for use
- It cannot be used as a step stool while standing or in any other way that involves putting weight on one point.
・There may be splinters on the rattan seat. Please understand that this is the natural texture of the material.
-Only identical products can be stacked.
