Aomori Hiba is famous as a construction material that is resistant to corrosion and has excellent durability. It has high antibacterial and insect repellent effects, and has been used for shrines, temples, castles, etc. since ancient times. There are over 40 types of essential oil extracted from Aomori hiba, and among these, trees that contain hinokitiol and β-drablin are rare in the world, and Aomori hiba is the only tree in Japan. <Cul de Sac JAPON> obtains natural oil through steam distillation of waste wood from Aomori Hiba trees that are over 250 years old.
