This sushi teacup was Special order for Beams Japan and commissioned from a manufacturer in Toki City, BEAMS JAPAN that specializes in producing sushi teacups.

The entire cup is decorated with fish-related kanji, pictures of fish, and sushi toppings, with furigana written on the kanji, and English and romanized letters on the pictures of fish and sushi toppings.

Before you go to a sushi restaurant, try studying up on the names and pictures of fish that seem like they can be read but are actually impossible. By the way, there are apparently over 200 different kanji characters related to fish.

A uniquely Japanese sushi teacup, perfect for a small celebration or as a gift for foreigners.

・Do not use this product for purposes other than tableware.
・Please wash thoroughly before use.
-During firing, depending on the position of the product in the kiln and temperature differences, the way the glaze melts and flows may change, resulting in uneven glaze, but please note that this is a characteristic of the product.
- Porcelain products may crack or chip due to strong impact or sudden temperature changes. Never use a chipped or cracked product as this may cause unexpected damage.
・Please do not use over open flames or in the oven.
・Gold and platinum-decorated vessels are decorated to be microwave safe.
- When using in the microwave, this product will be hot after cooking, so please be careful when handling it to avoid burns.
・Avoid washing the item while washing it, but remove dirt immediately and dry it thoroughly before storing it. If you are concerned about stains, please use commercially available kitchen bleach as directed. Do not bleach gold or platinum-decorated vessels as this may cause discoloration.
・Never use a metal scrubber, cleanser, or hard sponge (such as an abrasive scrubber) to scrub the surface too hard as this may scratch the surface.
・Although the back side of the bowl is polished, there are some products that cannot be completely polished. Please be careful not to drag it on the table etc.
・If you rub the surface of the bowl with a metal spoon, fork, knife, etc., metal scraping marks may remain.
・Please use the dishwasher in accordance with the instructions specified for the device.
