Special order made tea bowl was made by Horie Touki, located in the pottery village in the mountains of Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture.
The beautiful patterns are based on the motifs of nets, vine arabesque, and flowers. A simple design was chosen from the Horie Pottery collection and the BEAMS JAPAN logo was printed on the back.
We have created tableware with gentle colors that will blend in with your dining table.
What is Hasamiyaki?
Ceramics made near Hasami Town, located in the north-central part of Nagasaki Prefecture. It has a history of more than 400 years, and has a long history of being sold as "Arita ware", but until recent years its name has rarely appeared publicly. The company's characteristics are the beauty of white porcelain and the delicate dyeing techniques of indigo painting, while continuing to improve them to suit the times, producing vessels for the common people.

・Do not use this product for anything other than tableware.
・Please wash thoroughly before use.
-Due to the position of the product in the kiln and temperature differences during firing, the way the glaze melts and flows may change, resulting in uneven glaze, but please note that this is a characteristic of the product.
- Porcelain products may crack or chip due to strong impact or sudden temperature changes. Never use a chipped or cracked product as it may cause an unexpected accident.
・Do not use over open flames or in the oven.
・When using in the microwave, this product will become hot after cooking, so please be careful not to burn yourself when handling it.
・Avoid washing the item while washing it, but remove dirt immediately and dry it thoroughly before storing it.
・Do not use a metal scrubber or cleanser to rub the product too hard as this may scratch the surface.
・Please use the dishwasher in accordance with the instructions specified for the device.
