Product description
Enjoy caring for and growing your clay pot
This original BEAMS JAPAN clay pot is attractive for its rustic Iga clay texture and simple, well-balanced shape.

Iga-yaki clay pots are porous due to the characteristics of the clay, and contain a lot of air. Therefore, the entire clay pot heats up slowly, concentrating the flavor of the ingredients. The result is fluffy rice, sweet vegetables, and delicious meat.

The charm of Iga clay pots is that they become more flavorful the more you use them. Please enjoy caring for them and use them for many years to come.

Recommended use: 1 to 2 people

[Sealing is required for use]
- Mix lukewarm water and 2 to 3 tablespoons of potato starch or wheat flour in a clay pot and place over low heat.
Once it boils, turn off the heat immediately and let it cool, then leave it overnight.
- Rinse off and dry thoroughly.

[Notes and Features]
・Start cooking on low heat and gradually increase the heat.
- Clay pots are sensitive to temperature changes, so if you heat them suddenly or cool a hot pot suddenly, large cracks may appear.
-It has excellent heat retention, so once a pot is boiling, it will continue to simmer for a while even if you turn down the heat.

*For other handling instructions, please refer to the enclosed instruction manual.

It is known for this. To this day, the area continues to make everyday items that take advantage of the characteristics of Iga clay, making it one of Japan's leading ceramic production areas.
