This is a special edition of LACOSTE 's classic crew neck T-shirt, featuring a BEAMS 50th anniversary logo on the Special order chest. A logo in the same color as the body is placed on the back of the neck for a subtle accent. Made with a moderately heavy-weight fabric, it looks great as an inner layer or on its own. The brand was created in 1933 by René Lacoste, a famous French tennis player. Together with Andre Gillier, owner and president of France's largest knitwear manufacturing company at the time, he founded a company that manufactured polo shirts embroidered with a green crocodile logo.
