Double knit is called "cardboard knit" because the structure of the knitted fabric, which consists of two layers of fabric, front and back, connected by a middle thread, resembles cardboard.It is thick and feels like a sweatshirt, but is light and stretchy, making it extremely comfortable to wear.

The lining is made of environmentally friendly ``ECOPET(R)'' and is named ``ECOPET(R) KNIT.''

The "Kurume Kasuri" waistband, which resembles a kimono sash, is an original hand-woven kasuri pattern that incorporates a hand-drawn pattern by the CATHRI director himself.

In addition to how and where the waist string is tied, you can also arrange the sleeves to create a variety of different looks, making this a great choice for everyday use as well as for dressy occasions.

To highlight the balloon sleeves, the sleeves from the elbow to the wrist are intentionally tight.

It's not a "knit" like the typical autumn/winter sweaters, so it can be worn throughout the year.

"ECOPET(R)"
A recycled material made from discarded PET bottles by Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd.

Not all PET bottles are recycled, which places a huge burden on the global environment, including the problem of microplastics that pollute the oceans and cause suffering to marine life.

We need to change our approach of continuing to produce in order to dispose of it. We can reduce CO2 emissions by recycling resources instead of disposing of them.

This polyester fiber is made with such environmental considerations in mind, and coexists with the Earth.
