Fusion of modern ethical materials and traditional “Kurume Kasuri”
Please see the special website for the look of Vol.3.
A two-way dress that combines "Kurume Kasuri", an Important Intangible Cultural Property, and "ECOPET(R)".
Although it is relaxed wear, it has an impactful waist mark, creating an elegant and well-defined silhouette.
Hand-woven "Kurume Kasuri" is used on the waist area.
The navy pattern, named "Zigzag," is made from deep indigo kasuri thread, which is created by repeatedly dyeing the fabric, and is woven with high skill and careful craftsmanship to create a modern geometric pattern.
On the other hand, the New Navy version uses Kurume Kasuri, a polka dot pattern that is said to be difficult to produce, with a beautiful contrast between the deep indigo blue and the white created by the tying process.
The "ECOPET(R)" used for the body is lightweight, wrinkle-resistant, and has an attractive silky luster and soft, silky texture.
It's beautiful yet stress-free to wear and very comfortable, it's impressive.
It has a double-breasted design, so it can be worn with the front and back reversed.
The roughly deep V-cut back style makes the waist look like a kimono obi.
You can create a variety of different looks by tying the waist strings together or tying each one individually into a bow.
Recommended as slightly luxurious room wear.
These are lifetime garments unique to CATHRI, which creates fashion that can be loved for a long time, as if cherishing tradition.
"ECOPET(R)" Recycled materials produced by Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd. made from discarded plastic bottles, clothing, and textile waste.
Most of the lint and scraps generated in the process of making clothing and other items are incinerated and landfilled, placing a large burden on the global environment.
This allows for the recycling of resources without waste, while also reducing CO2 emissions.
This polyester fiber is made with such environmental considerations in mind, and coexists with the Earth.
