This Balmacaan coat from BEAMS PLUS is based on a vintage Balmacaan coat from the 1960s. It maintains classic styling while adding modern touches, such as the shoulder pattern and small collar. It is produced in a highly skilled Japanese factory.

■Details
It features a concealed front with a hook at the top, a chin strap at the collar, and a hook vent with a button at the hem. The pockets have zippers inside, allowing direct access to innerwear without opening the front. The lining is made of black watch pattern cotton fabric with a back lining, and the sleeves are lined with a smooth fabric. There are two pockets inside, and the cuffs are adjustable with a buckle.

■Size
The A-line silhouette widens towards the hem, making it comfortable to wear even over a jacket. The length is set to just below the knee.

■ Material
The fabric is made of gabardine, a combination of gasvoile cotton warp and two-ply polyester weft. The material has an iridescent sheen and a dry feel, and post-processing gives it a soft, voluminous texture reminiscent of vintage clothing.
