The side seams are narrow (3mm) and the overall number of stitches is set at 18 per 3cm for balance. All processes, including pattern matching, are completed by skilled craftsmen in Japan. The bottoms of both sides have a + mark bar closure, which is a typical BEAMS PLUS accent.
