■ Design
This BD Classic Fit Super Madras shirt from BEAMS PLUS is made from lightweight Indian Madras fabric. It features a six-button front closure, with the button placement slightly offset to create a balanced silhouette. It is characterized by its longer length and unique A-line shape.

■Details
The left chest features a pocket with V-stitching, and the collar is designed for both formal and casual wear. The side seams are made with narrow (3mm) lockstitch stitching, and the overall stitch count is set at 18 stitches per 3cm, carefully considered for balance. All processes, including pattern matching on the pockets, are finished by skilled craftsmen in Japan. The hem on both sides is finished with a practical "+" mark bar tack.

■Size
This shirt features a more relaxed pattern with more room in the body and shoulders compared to regular BEAMS PLUS button-down shirts. The sizing allows for a wide range of motion, making it suitable for casual styles.

■ Material
This fabric uses Madras check fabric, traditionally made in the Madras region of southeastern India (present-day Chennai). It is woven on a semi-automatic loom called a "power loom." A distinctive feature is that the warp threads are made finer, using 60-count single yarn instead of the conventional 40-count single yarn for both warp and weft, giving the fabric more suppleness. The fabric undergoes a slow drying process by hand in the sun, resulting in a three-dimensional texture, and it possesses the high breathability and lightness characteristic of Indian cotton.
